PAPADATOS UNVEILS NEW COLLECTIONS AT SALONE DEL MOBILE 2025 IN MILAN
Papadatos returned to the global stage of Salone del Mobile with a striking presence at this year’s edition of the fair, held from April 8th to 13th in Milan. Marking a new chapter in the brand’s evolving identity, Papadatos welcomed visitors to an enlarged and immersive pavilion, a tactile experience created entirely in clay texture and inspired by the natural elegance of earth tones.
The architectural concept and overall coordination of the pavilion were led by Rena Mania, whose design emphasized a warm, grounded atmosphere through three expansive living room settings and one dedicated outdoor area.
A Focus on Innovation and Heritage
This year’s presentation introduced several new product families, headlined by InCloud—a plush new sofa system designed by Italian architect Jacopo Giagnoni. Fully tufted with goose feathers, InCloud offers exceptional comfort and flexibility, with a wide variety of modular elements and sizes available. Its matching armchairs complete the relaxed, luxurious experience, making it an ideal choice for contemporary living spaces.
Another highlight was the Rubik collection of sideboards—presented in high-gloss lacquer with two distinct colorways and sizes. The design draws inspiration from the iconic 1970s Rubik’s Cube, blending nostalgic geometry with modern sophistication. Available in gloss or matte finishes, Rubik expands Papadatos’ offering in versatile storage solutions.
Adding to the ever-popular Moon collection, the new Full Moon love-bed introduces a swivel base and enriched upholstery options, combining innovation with the familiar soft curves that have made the Moon series a bestseller.
Organic Shapes and Iconic Finishes
The newly introduced Fiji dining table and Voltaire low tables also captured attention, featuring organically shaped tops, rounded bases with metallic accents, and luxurious leather finishes—pieces that effortlessly bridge the gap between sculpture and function.
Alongside the novelties, Papadatos presented refreshed editions of its most iconic collections. The Upper, Moon, Arenal, and Balthazar sofas appeared in new textile finishes, while beloved armchairs Petit Fleur and Philipp were reimagined in contemporary tones and textures. The Couture sideboard series, designed by Milanese architect Nicola Galizia, continued to shine with its refined aesthetic.
Outdoor Living Redefined
The outdoor space was a celebration of tactile materials and sculptural form, featuring the Arenal and Aria seating systems by Jacopo Giagnoni, paired with the Etna low tables designed by Marian Papadatou. With tops crafted from authentic volcanic lava stone, the outdoor collection reaffirms Papadatos' commitment to blending natural elements with elevated design.
This year’s exhibition not only reflected Papadatos’ dedication to craftsmanship and innovation but also its ability to create timeless environments that speak to comfort, form, and material integrity.
